| Elementary, middle, and high schools in Chittenden Solid Waste District are eligible to receive recycling bins at no charge. Each classroom and administrative office may request one 16-gallon blue bin to collect school recyclables. This is a one-time offer for each school. Replacement bins are not provided.
To further promote recycling at your school, CSWD offers free posters. There are currently two 11" x 14" color posters from which to choose: "Think Before You Throw . . . Recycle!" and "Keep Recycling Working . . . Buy Recycled!" Posters are available to schools in Chittenden County, Vermont at no charge.
To request recycling bins and posters for your school (Chittenden County only), please e-mail us at info@cswd.net or call the CSWD Hotline at 872-8111.
CSWD also offers three educational and informative posters that are great for displaying in the cafeteria or other areas where a large amount of trash, recycling, and compost is generated. Click on each poster below to enlarge the image. Please feel free to print these posters yourself or come by the CSWD administrative office to pick some up.
