Each year CSWD provides scholarships for two Chittenden County students in grades 8-11 to attend the YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL SUMMIT (YES).
If a student wishes to apply for the CSWD scholarship to YES! 2008 they can write a one page, typed letter to the attention of Jessica Sankey, Schools Outreach Coordinator, 1021 Redmond Road, Williston VT 05495. The deadline to apply is May 23rd.
In your application please address the following questions:
Are you part of an environmental club or class?
Why do you care about the environment?
Why do you want to attend YES! 2008
What changes do you want to make in your school or community to make it more environmentally friendly?
