CSWD Recycling List
Also known as “blue-bin” or “all-in-one” recycling, these are the common household items and materials that the CSWD Ordinance requires all Chittenden County residents and businesses to separate from their trash.
All CSWD Drop-Off Centers and private haulers collecting curbside recycling in Chittenden County accept All-In-One Recycling (see list below). Businesses should call their hauler to request this service.
NOTE: CSWD Drop-Off Centers also accept other recyclables, including scrap metal, textiles, yard waste, and used motor oil. Some haulers offer special pick up service for some of these other recyclables.
For a detailed version of this list that describes exactly what is and isn’t accepted in Chittenden County as blue-bin recycling, see this pdf file:

We also offer posters showing what is and isn’t recyclable, as well as decals for recycling bins, carts and Dumpsters: Go to Recycling Bins, Brochures, Decals and Posters page.
