CSWD

C&D Waste Recycling and Disposal Options

Small quantities (less than 1 cubic yard) of used building materials are accepted as construction and demolition waste at all CSWD Drop-Off Centers except Hinesburg. The fee is based on volume. Large loads of used building materials should be taken to one of the privately operated transfer stations, where fees are based on weight.

Exception: Clean Gypsum Drywall is only accepted at the Williston Drop-off Center and Transfer Station (for large loads).

Burning or burying construction waste can be hazardous to your health and our environment. It is also illegal!
The materials listed below can be reused or recycled for less than the cost of landfilling. Some items are accepted for FREE! Please call in advance for prices, specifications, and locations. This is a partial listing.
