Film Showings, Discussions and Workshops
As part of the Earth Day Film Festival at Main Street Landing, Green Mountain Compost is sponsoring a free showing of “Dirt! The Movie: A Story With Heart and Soil.” Narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis, “Dirt! The Movie” is an insightful and timely film that tells the story of the glorious and unappreciated material beneath our feet.
WHEN: Earth Day! Sunday, April 22, 4:00-6:00 p.m. (The festival is from noon to 8:00 p.m.)
WHERE: Main Street Landing Film House, corner of Main and Battery streets, Burlington
COST: It’s Free! Plus, we’ll be raffling off some GREAT prizes, including:
- a backyard SoilSaver compost bin and sunflower sprouting kits from Green Mountain Compost
- an EcoStack compost bin from Gardener’s Supply Company
- $75 gift certificate from CarShare Vermont
- 2 season passes from Burlington Department of Parks and Recreation
