CSWD

Appliance Round Ups

Appliance Round Ups are specific days that we accept certain items from Chittenden County residents for no charge. CSWD holds two Appliance Round Ups each year to help make residents aware of year-round recycling options for appliances and to encourage proper disposal.

Appliances are accepted year-round at all CSWD Drop-Off Centers for a fee:

  • $5 for stove, microwave, water heater, washer, dryer
  • $10 for refrigerator, freezer
  • $15 for air conditioner, dehumidifier

…but on Appliance Round Up Day, they’re free!

Appliance Round Ups are for Chittenden County residents only, and there is a limit of 3 appliances per customer. Residents are responsible for transporting and unloading all items brought to the Round Up.

CSWD also offers Tire Round Ups on separate days.
