The Rover

The Rover, CSWD’s mobile hazardous waste collection unit, accepts a wide variety of household hazardous waste at no charge from Chittenden County residents only. Business waste will not be accepted at the Rover.

The Rover will start making the rounds again in July 2012. Please see the schedule below.

The Environmental Depot, CSWD’s permanent hazardous waste facility, is open YEAR-ROUND in South Burlington. The Environmental Depot accepts the same materials as the Rover PLUS MORE at no charge from Chittenden County residents and from CSWD businesses that qualify as Conditionally Exempt Generators (CEG’s).
