The Rover is off the streets until summer 2010.
Instead, you can bring your hazardous waste to the Environmental Depot , a hazardous waste collection facility located in South Burlington that is open YEAR-ROUND.
The Environmental Depot accepts the same materials as the Rover PLUS MORE at no charge from Chittenden County residents and CSWD businesses who qualify as
Conditionally Exempt Generators (CEG's). The Rover is Chittenden Solid Waste District's moblie household hazardous waste collection
unit.
The Rover accepts a wide variety of household hazardous waste at
no charge from Chittenden Solid Waste District residents only. The 2009 Rover
schedule is posted below. Check back for the 2010 schedule in the spring.
