CSWD Drop-Off Center Fees
NOTE: For the first time in 10 years, the Chittenden Solid Waste District has increased some Drop-Off Center fees. This increase took effect July 1, 2007. Click here for a PDF containing more information and the new rates.

Chittenden Solid Waste District has two Limited-Service and six Full-Service Drop-Off Centers (DOCs). Although the fees are the same at each DOC, more items are accepted at the Full-Service DOCs. The Burlington DOC is the only facility that charges by weight (13 cents per pound) or volume.

All fees are subject to change. CSWD reserves the right to refuse large loads (over one cubic yard) at the Drop-Off Centers and refer customers to other facilities. Drop-Off Centers cannot accomodate vehicles that have dumping mechanisms.

NOTE: Our Drop-Off Centers currently accept CASH or CHECKS only as payment for fees (no credit or debit cards).
