Construction and demolition (C&D) projects are on the rise in Chittenden County, Vermont. As a result, C&D waste is one of the fastest growing components of the waste stream. To prevent usable items from being wasted in a landfill, CSWD encourages all residents and businesses to consider separating clean wood, scrap metal, cardboard, masonry, and other leftover building materials for reuse or recycling.
