Every year, Chittenden Solid Waste District presents a Waste Reduction Award to one Chittenden County business
or institution. (Prior to 2000, an award was presented in each category.) The award recognizes exemplary waste reduction programs that go above
and beyond the mandatory recycling requirements!
All businesses and institutions in CSWD are eligible for the Waste Reduction Award.
To apply, call the Hotline (872-8111) to request an application form. All applications
must be submitted to CSWD before December 31.
